Wedding Sneak Peek

I am BEYOND excited to share this sneak peak from our wedding with you! Since our big day, we’ve been stalking our hashtag (#shestolehishartman) and reliving the memories through our friends’ and families’ iphone photos. So when we caught a glimpse of these photos from Sweetlife Photography, we were over the moon!

I’ll set the mood for you…

My (now) husband, Grant, and I got engaged while on vacation in the Willamette Valley, Oregon. Aside from the special memories we made there, we absolutely loved everything about the area; the scenery, the people, the WINE! While both of us were born and raised in Pennsylvania and live there now, we decided to host a destination wedding in Dayton, Oregon at Vista Hills Vineyard. I can’t tell you how many questions this prompted… “Are you from Oregon? Is he form Oregon? Well, what’s in Oregon?!” And the answer is, we just love the Pacific Northwest and we wanted to share its beauty with all our loved ones!

So, we started wedding planning from from across the country! As a very visual person (and someone who loves a DIY project), planning from afar was not easy! But we had the most amazing vendors that honestly made it cake! We found most of our vendors on Instagram (thank you, hashtags!) and relied heavily on recommendations made by the vendors we grew to know and trust. Check out our full vendor list below!

The photographs are absolutely gorgeous! And those table settings are really quite wonderful. They found a way to use flowers without looking extra feminine.
