As a recent bride, I can totally understand the hysteria in searching for “the perfect _____”. You can fill that blank with just about anything; nail polish, under garments, ribbon for your bouquet, candles for the bathroom… you name it! Today, I’m sharing the “perfect” pink lipstick! 

When looking for a pink lipstick for our wedding day, I wanted something very soft and not distracting. I don’t typically wear loud or noticeable makeup and I didn’t want to start on our wedding day! 

Here’s my favorite combo, give them a try and let me know what you think!

keep these things in mind…

1. Don’t skip the lip liner! Of course, a lip liner outlines your lips, but it also plays a crucial part in keeping your lipstick from seeping into the little cracks around your lips. (This is especially important with red lipstick.) Apply another light coat of lip liner on top of the lipstick for additional definition.
2. Use concealer to touch up the area around your lips. This will reduce redness and make your lips pop!
3. Top it off with something glossy 😉

BRIDAL TIP:

Your makeup artist will paint a beautiful shade of lipstick on when you get your makeup done. But you can pretty much guarantee it won’t last all day! Don’t get stuck without any lipstick, plan ahead and either buy the color your make-up artist suggests, or bring your own. If you bring your own, be sure to bring it to your trial!
